The Fighter (O’Russell, 2010)

Solid film, but, honestly, the only great thing about it is Christian Bale. He reminded me why I liked him so much when I was in High School, and first saw films like The Machinist, The Prestige, Equilibrium and American Psycho. His eye movements are different in each film, exacting the temperament of the character he’s portraying. It’s brilliant; he’s a truly dynamic actor.
