Two Lovers and a Bear (Nguyen, 2016)

Image result for two lovers and a bear

An intriguing relationship drama wherein Northern spirituality guides lost lovers in facing their troubled past. Notably high concept, spiritual guidance acts through ancestral links such as blood and poetic links such as love and intuition. It also acts via a talking bear. In other words, the film’s appreciable high concept mode mostly misses the mark.

66/100 – Decent.
